Human & Earth Justice

Alarm is expressed in my art about the dire situations we witness and experience. Asylum was illegally denied the immigrants fleeing dire situations that include gang violence, starvation, and poverty. Children were separated from their parents at the Mexican border then imprisoned in CBP holding facilities. Evacuation from wildfires that cast me from my studio led me to spontaneous land art. Much of the degradation of our natural environment and the assaults on human rights must be noted and repaired by us. We are charged with “Tikkun Olam”, an ancient Hebrew phrase, translated as “repair the tear in the world.”
