Ladders

Ladders are influenced by the Southwest Pueblo Indians who's Kiva ladders accessed their below-ground homes. My non-utilitarian ladders only imply going up or down. The structures scattered on beaches for everyone to enjoy, are spontaneously built by anonymous beach lovers, expressing our basic need to make things.
My ladders are shown front and back views. Driftwood applied with acrylic paint, metal, string, feathers, fabric, shells, scrap.
Each 7 to 8 feet high x 36 inches wide
