Ladders

Ladders are influenced by the Southwest Pueblo Indians who's Kiva ladders accessed their below-ground homes. My nonutilitarian ladders only imply going up or down. The structures scattered on beaches for everyone to enjoy, are spontaneously built by anonymous beach lovers who express our basic need to make things.
Ladders shown front & back views. Driftwood applied with acrylic paint, metal, string, feathers, fabric, scrap. Each 7 to 8 feet high x 36 inches wide.
